Sorry for not posting for so long. I was (am) super busy.
Get this: Januaries in Michigan are so warm that you can go outside in a t-shirt and still be OK (That’s what I did last week). They said there would be a snowstorm last Tuesday, then last Thursday, but none came. It’s Monday afternoon, and it’s been snowing all day. So, yeah… At least Februaries are more predictable than Januaries. They have mostly lots of snow.
I’ve been reading lots and lots of manga lately. I finished Bokurano after spending 3 nights reading it. It’s quite good for existential food for thought. Last week I read Wendy, which was really really good (though kind of mind-twisting and heavy). I’ve been reading lots more, but I won’t trouble you guys with any more geeking out.
Three Men in a Boat, the classic by Jerome K. Jerome, is really hilarious! I had to read it for British Lit, but I totally enjoyed it. If you read it, you won’t look at cheese the same way again. Just saying…

Hey guys! NaNo 2012 is just around the corner! To be specific, it’s tomorrow. I hope I win again this year also. Not that it *really* matters, but because if I break the chain like that, my OCD self will be very annoyed.
I found some things I bookmarked last year while doing NaNo that I thought I’d like to share with you guys.
Okay, so these are at least one year old…I hope they will help you as they helped me.
It’s my self-imposed bedtime, so that’s why this post is so short.
Let’s win NaNo together, huh? Night!

Hey guys! Summer is nearly ending (for some of you it has already ended). Where I live, school starts the Tuesday after Labor Day. I hope you all have had a wonderful summer, and that you have taken a vacation somewhere. As for me, I haven’t been anywhere far, just orchestra practice in my bordering state. Oh well…
Anyway, since the school year is coming, these are the classes I take or will be taking.
- English—A.P. British Literature
- Math—Finish up Geometry, take Pre-Calculus
- Science—Finish up Physics, take A.P. Physics
- Social Studies—Psychology
- Foreign Language—Thai (???)
- Music—Music Performance
So yeah, here are my classes. As you can see, it’s a bit fuzzy, but I manage. What classes are you taking this fall? Or, if your school year is different from my school year, what classes are you currently taking?
One last thing… Have you read Beowulf? I just finished it for my A.P. British Lit class, and it was just awesome. At first I thought it would be boring and archaic, but I was totally wrong. It’s dynamic, action-packed, and suspenseful. It can also apply to us in the modern day, concerning morals and character. Now I’m going to read Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. I start it tomorrow. I hope all my books in A.P. British Lit are not boring! (Maybe I’ll list them in a later post…?)
