10/31/09: Happy Halloween!
I don’t like Halloween much, on account of the scary costumes and the cavities. Onion agrees. So today, we’re staying home and relaxing. In fact, this year I’m putting up a sign in the front door saying “NO Trick or Treating, please!” Hopefully people won’t ring the doorbell all night long. :)Rant
Why do sites with 500+ hits a day say something like “Because I’m/we’re so much better than you” or other snobbish comments and still get their hits? I don’t get it. And why does 99% of these sites are celebrity sites owned by a 15-20 yearsWhat’s more annoying is that in their affiliate application section, they say something like “If you don’t get more than _00 hits a day, don’t bother applying!” and “If you don’t get a response in a month, the answer’s no.” So I have to wait for a month, and you don’t bother replying just because you think you’re better than me, for a no?
Then they say something like “OMG I haven’t updated in like a month omg omg omg I’m so like sorry! Here’s a blog post about my boyfriend and how much I love him!” when a simple “Sorry I haven’t been updating” would suffice. Ok, so I’m exaggerating a little, but you get my point (hopefully).
Up until now, I’ve been ranting about how annoying those sites are. xD Thanks for reading! Remember that those sites also have their good points too. :)
